# Navigate Admin, branch, language, and profile

To navigate Admin, branch, language, and profile, start with a signed-in session and knowledge of the Business Account and branch you intend to work in. In Admin, expand sidebar hubs, use navigation search, follow breadcrumbs, and switch branch. Recheck the active branch after switching because branch-scoped pages and records refresh to the new context.

## Before you start

- A signed-in session and knowledge of the Business Account and branch you intend to work in
- Menu entries can disappear because of role, capability, plan, or enabled-setting rules

## Steps

1. After sign-in, confirm the Business Account and active branch shown in the Admin header before opening a branch-scoped page.
2. Use the sidebar hub for routine navigation, or open navigation search and choose a result that is visible to your role.
3. Use the breadcrumb to move to a parent page; do not use browser history to assume an old branch is still selected.
4. Use the profile menu for personal profile, language, and sign-out actions; review notifications from their own header control.

## Expected result

Admin opens the destination allowed for the signed-in role while retaining the selected Business Account, branch, and language. Branch-aware pages show the new branch after a switch, and sign-out clears the authenticated Admin session.

## Permissions

- Admin navigation requires an authenticated session; each destination remains hidden or guarded by its own capability, entitlement, branch, and enabled-feature rules.

## Troubleshooting

### A sidebar or search destination is missing.

Confirm the active branch and signed-in role, then clear navigation search and reopen the relevant hub. A hidden destination usually means its route capability, plan feature, or enabled setting is unavailable; do not bypass it with a copied URL.

### The page opens under the wrong branch or language.

Stop before editing, reselect the intended branch or language from the header or profile control, and reopen the destination. If the header and page disagree, refresh once and send Support both visible labels and the route.
