Sign in, verify, and recover account access
Use Sign in for normal access. If you forgot the password, request one reset message and use its newest time-limited link to choose a new password. Verification and invitation links must match the intended email account. Never share a password, verification code, reset link, or invitation link with another person, including Support.
Before you start
- A current email address and the newest verification, reset, or invitation message
- The current user’s own email or identity when the task is personal
Sign in
- Open /login, enter the email and password assigned to your account, and submit once.
- After access opens, confirm the returned Business Account, role, and branch before starting work.
Reset a forgotten password
- From Sign in, choose Forgot password and submit the account email once.
- Open only the newest reset message, set the new password before the link expires, then return to Sign in.
Verify an email address
- Open the newest verification link for the same email account.
- Wait for the verification result before requesting another message; an expired or used link does not verify the account.
Accept an invitation
- Open /accept-invite/:token from the intended recipient’s newest invitation email.
- Confirm the account shown, accept once, and verify the role and branch access returned by the invitation.
Expected result
The selected sign-in, reset, verification, or invitation flow shows a final success or explicit failure for the intended email account. A failed or expired link does not silently create access, change a role, or consume a different account’s message.
Permissions
- Sign-in, password-reset, verification, and invitation routes are public entry flows; they grant only the identity, role, and branch access returned by the completed account flow.
Troubleshooting
A sign-in, reset, or verification request is rejected.
Confirm the page and email account, correct the displayed validation error, and submit once. For reset or verification, use only the newest message; stop if the link is expired, already used, or belongs to another recipient.
An invitation or reset result remains uncertain.
Return to the relevant access page and check the current session or message status before requesting another link. Give Support the page, time, and email domain only; never send passwords, tokens, links, secrets, or one-time codes.
