Review the Admin dashboard

Before you start

• Recorded sales and operations for the selected branch and period
• Dashboard sections load independently, so one unavailable card does not invalidate successful sections

Steps

1. Open /dashboard and confirm the active branch and time range shown above the summary.
2. Wait for each dashboard section to finish loading, then review sales, orders, customers, and inventory signals for the same period.
3. Select an action item or KPI only when you need its underlying page; the destination applies its own permission checks.
4. If one section fails, retry that section once after confirming the branch and range instead of treating every loaded card as invalid.

Expected result

Each dashboard section shows data, an empty state, or its own error for the selected branch and time range. Linked actions open their source page, so the operator can verify a KPI or signal before making a change.

Permissions

• Dashboard accepts dashboard.read or reports.read; an action opened from a card still enforces the destination route’s permission.

Troubleshooting

One dashboard section is empty or fails while others load.

Check that the selected branch and time range contain source records, then retry only the failed section once. Preserve the KPI name, filter range, branch, and safe source reference when escalating.

A KPI differs from its linked detail.

Open the KPI destination and compare branch, dates, status filters, and source-record completeness. Do not change data to force a match; report the KPI label, both scopes, differing values, and time.
