# Manage delivery partners

To manage delivery partners, start with the intended branch, brand, channel, order, partner, or storefront and the relevant plan feature. In Admin, list partners, create partner, edit partner, and change partner status. Verify the channel, brand, branch, price, promise time, and customer fulfilment details before publishing or dispatching.

## Before you start

- The intended branch, brand, channel, order, partner, or storefront and the relevant plan feature
- Verify external identifiers, customer promise times, and order status before accepting, assigning, or publishing

## Steps

1. Open /settings/delivery-partners and search the existing list before creating another partner.
2. Create or open a partner, enter the displayed identity and operating fields, and save once.
3. Change active status only on the selected partner after reviewing any current dispatch use.
4. Reopen or refresh the list to verify the saved status before assigning new delivery work.

## Expected result

The selected delivery partner reopens with its saved identity, operating fields, and active state. Deactivation returns a visible result and does not imply that existing dispatch history was deleted.

## Permissions

- Delivery Partners requires dispatch.read; create, edit, status, and deactivation operations require separately enforced write access.

## Troubleshooting

### A partner cannot be created or saved.

Search existing partners, correct the displayed identity or operating-field validation, and submit once. Do not create a duplicate while the first result is uncertain.

### Active status or deactivation is unclear.

Reopen the exact partner and review current dispatch use before retrying. Report the partner reference, branch or scope, prior status, intended status, and time.
