# Use the POS reports library

Reports groups standard, shift and cash, staff, intelligence, and operations packs and supports search across the available routes. To do this, open Reports, browse a category or search by report name, and choose a report. For Use the POS reports library, confirm the displayed filters before exporting or reconciling totals.

## Before you start

- An authenticated POS session assigned to the intended branch and access to the date range or operational scope being reviewed.
- The source orders, payments, shifts, inventory, or customer links relevant to this report have been recorded.

## Steps

1. Open Reports for use the POS reports library.
2. Browse a category or search by report name.
3. Choose a report.
4. Set its available filters and refresh.
5. Use export only after the report finishes loading.

## Expected result

The Reports library shows only available report destinations, and the selected child route opens under the active branch scope. A missing report remains unavailable until the role has pos.read or reports.read.

## Permissions

- The user needs pos.read or reports.read for the active branch; exports contain only the report data returned for that authorized scope.

## Troubleshooting

### The Reports page opens but a required report is missing from the library.

Confirm the active branch and the user’s pos.read or reports.read access, then clear the report search or category filter. Do not use another branch to bypass the missing destination. Send Support the report name, branch, role, visible library filters, and time if it remains absent.

### Selecting a report returns to the library or opens an empty shell.

Copy the child route, refresh once, and verify the browser stayed under /reports. If the route still cannot render, stop retrying and send Support the report name, child route, branch, visible error, and time.
