Manage team members and invitations
To manage team members and invitations, start with settings access and verified Business Account, branch, user, or configuration details. In Admin, search users, invite user, resend invitation, and change role. Settings can affect every user or branch in scope, so review the selected Business Account and branch before saving.
Before you start
- Settings access and verified Business Account, branch, user, or configuration details
- Confirm whether the change is personal, Business Account-wide, or branch-specific before saving
Steps
- Open /users and search by the team member’s assigned email before inviting another account.
- For a new member, choose Invite, enter the email, role, and allowed branches, then review and send once.
- For an existing member, open the editor and change role or branch access only after confirming the intended scope.
- Use resend only for the current pending invitation; deactivate an account from its existing record rather than creating a replacement user.
Expected result
The user or invitation shows the intended email, role, allowed branches, and current status. Resend affects the existing pending invitation, while role, branch-access, and deactivation changes return a visible final state.
Permissions
- Users requires users.read; invitation, role, branch-access, resend, and deactivation operations require their corresponding user administration access.
Troubleshooting
An invitation cannot be sent or found.
Search the assigned email, check for an existing or pending user, then correct email, role, or branch validation. Send once and do not create a duplicate invitation.
Role, branch access, resend, or deactivation is unclear.
Reopen the exact user and check current status before retrying. Stop if the member identity or scope differs; report the user reference or email domain, intended role or branches, and visible error without invitation links.
