Find, filter, and export reports
To find, filter, and export reports, start with recorded source data, a reporting period, and the intended branch. In Admin, browse report library, select dates, select branch, and review KPIs. Confirm the branch, period, filters, and source completeness before exporting or acting on a result.
Before you start
- Recorded source data, a reporting period, and the intended branch
- Filters define the result; recheck dates and branch before exporting or acting
Steps
- Open /reports or /reports/overview and choose the report that matches the question; report pages are separate workflows.
- On the chosen report, set the date range and branch before reading KPI cards or detail rows.
- Apply any report-specific filters, refresh, and compare the visible scope with a known source record.
- Export CSV or print/PDF only after the on-screen totals and filters match the intended reconciliation scope.
Expected result
The chosen report shows filters, KPIs, and rows for one explicit branch and period. Any exported CSV or printed/PDF output corresponds to the visible report scope; an empty result remains distinguishable from a request failure.
Permissions
- The report library and overview accept reports.read or analytics.read; individual child reports apply the guards documented for their own routes.
Troubleshooting
The selected report is empty or cannot load.
Recheck its own date, branch, and report-specific filters, then compare with one known source record. Empty is valid when nothing matches; retry once only for a visible request error.
An export differs from the screen.
Keep the report open and compare its visible scope with the exported file. Regenerate once after filters settle; if it still differs, send Support the route, filters, branch, period, and differing total without confidential source files.
