Read register pace, nudges, and shift score
Operational strips show current pace, targets, stock health, nudges, and shift risk indicators to support decisions without automatically changing an order. Review the pace and target indicators, read the evidence attached to a nudge or risk state, and dismiss or acknowledge where offered. Review the final cart, customer, service mode, price, tax, notes, and stock state before checkout.
Before you start
- An authenticated POS session for the intended branch.
- The current branch menu and register configuration have finished loading.
Steps
- Review the pace and target indicators.
- Read the evidence attached to a nudge or risk state.
- Dismiss or acknowledge where offered.
- Open the related operational page before making a controlled change.
Expected result
Pace, target, nudge, stock, and shift-risk indicators remain advisory and link staff to evidence before action. Keep the cart open and do not add the item again while its line state is uncertain.
Permissions
- Register use requires POS access for the active branch; catalog, configuration, and stock corrections remain restricted to an authorized manager.
Troubleshooting
The workflow stops while staff review the pace and target indicators, before they can read the evidence attached to a nudge or risk state.
Before reopening the workflow, verify: An authenticated POS session for the intended branch. The current branch menu and register configuration have finished loading. Return to /billing without changing user, branch, or record. Try the blocked step once; if it remains unavailable, stop and provide Support the safe cart reference, product or SKU, branch, line state, and time. For escalation, state what happens when staff review the pace and target indicators.
The cart or register does not reflect the requested item change after the final checkpoint: Open the related operational page before making a controlled change.
Inspect the affected cart line, quantity, unit, modifiers, price, stock, customer, and service mode. Retry once only when the cart proves the change was not already applied and menu and stock data are current. If those records still disagree, stop and send Support the safe cart reference, product or SKU, branch, line state, and time. Use the visible and saved records to determine whether staff could open the related operational page before making a controlled change.
